What goes into a quote?
Line items
For each item you enter a description, quantity, unit (piece, hour, day, m, m², m³, kg, l, set, visit, job) and unit price, and set its type to labour, material or other.
VAT
Each quote uses a single VAT rate: 0%, 1%, 10% or 20% (20% by default). You can enter prices excluding or including VAT; the system shows the net amount, VAT and grand total separately.
Options
Up to three options: Economy, Standard, Premium. The customer picks one and accepts it. A single-option quote is perfectly normal too.
Site visit proposal
If you need to see the job before giving a price, you propose a free or fixed-fee site visit and offer up to 5 time slots.
Validity
A quote is valid for 1–90 days (7 days by default). When it expires, both sides are notified; if the customer hasn't responded within 24 hours, they get one reminder.
Revisions
You can update a sent quote with a new version; the previous version stays in the history, and the customer always sees the latest one.

Calculations are done per line item and rounded per line using round-half-up; totals are the exact sum of the line items.
- The VAT-inclusive total of the accepted option is recorded as the job amount.
- If the request is pending, the job is automatically marked as accepted and the customer is notified.
- For a site visit proposal, the chosen time is recorded as an appointment.
- When the job is completed, commission is calculated on the accepted quote amount.
How do I compare and approve quotes?
The provider's quote arrives itemized on your request page, with VAT shown separately. If there are several options (Economy, Standard, Premium), you pick one and tap "Accept". For a site visit proposal, you choose a time that suits you. Declining a quote does not cancel the job.
How much is the commission and how is it calculated?
Commission applies only to completed jobs. New service providers start at 15%; each time you meet the criteria and apply from your panel, the rate drops by 1 point, down to a minimum of 5%. Providers registered before tiered commission keep their current rate. A different rate or an exemption can be set for some trades or members. Commission is calculated on the VAT-inclusive amount of the accepted quote; the lower of the rates in effect when you accepted and when the job was completed applies. Jobs your own customers open directly with you carry no commission.
Is there a fee per request or per quote?
No. On talep.ai there is no fee to see a request, respond to it or send a quote. Jobs are assigned to you directly by the assistant or our team; your fixed cost is the monthly plan fee. After approval your first month is free, and it stays free until your first customer arrives.
